I’m enjoying retirement. Looking forward to playing golf this summer. I’m a member of the “tacky jacket gang” and Dave Kline is my Big Brother. Good luck to you all.” -Michael (Casper)
Lohr, Jeffrey “Jeff”, Class of 1966
Margie and I recently retired and, after 35 happy years in Charlotte, Nprth Carolina, we packed up our belongings and moved to Portland, Oregon. The obvious question is; “why”? The answer, simple; “to be near our son and his family”. If you are ever in the northwest, look us up.
Pruner, Jeffrey “Jeff”, Class of 1965
Dave Wilbert (PSU Sig ’67) is a neighbor of ours in Jacksonville. In the past year, Dave Rumler and Gary Groff have stopped by. Be sure to let us know if you are ever in the area. The weather is always sunny and warm….
Cox, Philip “Phil”, Class of 1962
The newly formed Myrtle Beach Penn State Club is up and running. Our first annual dinner had a turnout of 40 alums and spouses. They were treated to an interesting and amusing presentation by Penn Stater editor Tina Hay. This was followed by a compelling report on the Sandusky situation by Brother Ted Junker, Trustee Emeritus. Sigs dominated the group with four on hand Art Blenk, Dave Ashley, Phil Cox, and Ted.
Cascino, George, Class of 1966
I just returned from the Super Bowl- Our Giants won! I went with my sons, Dylan, current brother- Junior year, and Jordan, PSU Grad 2009. We had room reservation help from Andy Gilaeasloove- AX/EX 1967 Grad.
Kline, David “Dave”, Class of 1964
The attached pictures show various groups of undergrad brothers. This picture shows a group at BLTW a few years ago. There are three Alpha Chi Consuls shown in this picture along with a couple Pro-Consuls and other leaders in the fraternity house. To see these young men being successful while undergrads and later in life is my reward as the AX Chapter Advisor
Ashley, David, Class of 1963
Penn State is forming an Alumni Club in the Myrtle Beach, SC area. At a recent meeting 3 Alpha Chi brothers from the 60’s met. Art Blenk ’60, Phil Cox ’61 and Dave Ashley ’63 discussed not only our lives since graduation, but also memories of the “Red Barn”. I imagine some of our Brother’s ears were “burning” that evening!!
