35th Annual Golf Classic Spans Decades

In June, Brothers from all factions of our alumni membership attended our 35th Annual Golf outing.

Among our participants were Brothers from the 70s, from recent years, and from every decade in between, who came together to support the tournament spearheaded by our new Tournament Director, Matt Kutz ’17.

The pledge class initiated in November 1970 had nine members. There was an effort to bring all of them together for the recent Golf Classic. We succeeded in bringing back five; the most we’ve had of this class for any Golf Classic Weekend.

In 2026, we are intent in getting the entire pledge class back for a reunion.

Alumni from the 1980s were well represented at the Golf Classic and enjoyed some refreshments in downtown State College after Saturday’s round.

Congratulations to Matt on managing his first, and successful, Golf Classic. Thank you, Scott, for bringing us many years of Golf Classic enjoyment and mentoring Matt to succeed you. It’s a big job!
